Industry: Dessert & Sweets E-commerce
Role: Performance Marketer
Led by: Rezaul Tasin, Founder of Tizital
Project Duration: December 2022 – December 2023
Overview
MithaiBangla.com is a dessert and sweets e-commerce brand serving customers through digital channels in Bangladesh.
From December 2022 to December 2023, Rezaul Tasin, Founder of Tizital, worked with MithaiBangla.com as a Performance Marketer, focusing on Meta advertising, customer acquisition and performance-driven business growth.
During the project period, more than $34,000 in Meta advertising spend was managed, the business acquired 70,000+ customers, and achieved approximately 5x overall business growth.
The Challenge
For a dessert and sweets e-commerce business, generating initial demand is only one part of the growth challenge.
The larger objective was to build a paid acquisition system capable of reaching new customers consistently, turning demand into orders and supporting the business as it scaled.
As advertising activity increased, campaigns also needed continuous testing and optimisation to identify which audiences, creatives, offers and campaign structures were producing stronger results.
The goal was to make Meta Ads a reliable and scalable customer acquisition channel, rather than simply a source of traffic and engagement.
The Approach
The performance marketing strategy was built around customer acquisition, continuous testing and data-driven optimisation.
Campaign performance was regularly analysed to understand where customers were coming from and which advertising approaches showed the strongest potential.
Different audiences, creatives, campaign structures and acquisition approaches were tested and refined over time. Advertising investment could then be shifted toward stronger-performing opportunities while weaker areas were improved or replaced.
As more performance data became available, successful campaigns could be scaled with greater confidence.
Scaling Customer Acquisition
Over the project period, more than $34K in Meta advertising spend was managed as part of the growth strategy.
The focus wasn’t simply on increasing advertising volume. The objective was to turn that investment into measurable customer acquisition and support the wider growth of the business.
Through continuous campaign optimisation and scaling, paid social became an important acquisition channel for MithaiBangla.com, contributing to a customer base that grew beyond 70,000 customers.
The Results
$34K+
Meta Ad Spend Managed
More than $34,000 in Meta advertising investment was managed throughout the project period.
70K+
Customers Acquired
Performance marketing supported customer acquisition at scale, helping the business acquire more than 70,000 customers.
5x
Overall Business Growth
MithaiBangla.com achieved approximately 5x overall business growth during the project period.
Turning Paid Media Into Business Growth
The success of the project wasn’t measured simply by impressions, clicks or engagement.
Performance marketing was approached as a business growth function, with advertising decisions connected to customer acquisition and broader commercial performance.
Continuous testing provided more data. Better data enabled stronger optimisation. Stronger-performing campaigns could then receive greater investment, creating a repeatable process for scaling customer acquisition.
By the end of the project, MithaiBangla.com had grown to 70,000+ customers while achieving approximately 5x overall business growth.
From Performance Marketing to 5x Business Growth
The MithaiBangla.com project demonstrates how a structured performance marketing strategy can help an e-commerce brand turn paid advertising into a scalable customer acquisition engine.
The experience also reflects the approach Rezaul Tasin now brings to Tizital: focusing advertising strategy on measurable customer acquisition and business growth rather than surface-level marketing metrics.
